Passports and Visas
The government has now tightened international travel requirements for all U.S. travelers.
As of October 1, 2007, you'll need a passport to both leave and enter the U.S. by air. This requirement will be further extended to travel by land and sea in 2008. So we recommend that all our clients get their applications in now so that they're ready to go when the time comes.
But in addition to your passport, many countries also require that you obtain a visa or tourist card for entry. You can find a list of current countries with these requirements on the State Department Website.
